The Hunt Ends With Love!
Hunting Season is nearly here, and many Churches are taking up Satan’s
work. While they profess to be followers of God, they fail to live like
God’s only biological Son always has lived: to please the Father in Heaven.
We are called to walk as He walked, yet Christian groups and elements of
State Government try to draw in curious kids and uninterested children, to
preserve and pursue their right to kill animals, God’s creatures! 1John 2:6
in the Bible says, “He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to
walk, even as he (Jesus) walked.”
“Fine,” you say! “Bring it on!” But, killing and wounding animals by
so-called sportsmen is not pleasing to God, the Creator! 1Corinthians 16:14
instructs us to “Let all you things be done with love.” “And the times of
this ignorance God winked at; but not commands all men every where to
repent.” (Acts 17:30) “He that loves not knows not God; for God is love.”
(1John 4:8) He loves you so much He died for you, but He hates our sins!
We are told to love God with all our heart and soul and mind and strength.
We love God because HE LOVED US FIRST! (1John 4:19) God tells us we are to
do all our things with love!
A great man of God, by some churches standards, says he loves the deer that
browse in the yard around his home, yet he says God put them here to fill
our freezers! That’s like saying Hitler loved the Jews. Actions speak
louder than words. One of my rural neighbors boasts about how deeply he
loves his annual small herd of cows which he shoots, stabs or otherwise
kills annually. They were not created for his heartless and twisted love.
Revelation 4:11 says everything was created by God, for His pleasure!
The great hymn, by Pauline M. Mills and Tom Smail:
Thou art worthy, Thou art worthy,
Thou art worthy, O lord,
To receive glory, glory and honor,
Glory and honor and power,
For Thou has created, hast all things created,
Thou hast created all things,
And for thy pleasure they are created:
Thou art worthy, O Lord!
When God began to restore mankind, after man fell to the reasoning of the
Devil, animal sacrifice was temporarily introduced to the Jews, because in
that ancient time, the world nations were almost all consumed with
sacrificing to false gods, llamas, any animal, horses, virgin women, and
captive males! God, like Paul, became all things to all men, that some
by any means might be saved! These animal sacrifices died to reveal
God’s love for humanity, which was so great that His Son would be the fully
effective and final sacrifice for our sins, errors, disobedience,
separation, and mistakes! (See Hebrews 10:12)
His life offered up once forever for our pathetic choices and lack of love,
made animal sacrifice, not only unnecessary, but so unnecessary, that God
warned us in Isaiah 66:3 where it says, “He that kills an ox is as if he
slew a man (a murderer); he that sacrifices a lamb, as if he cut off a dog’s
neck…” The Bible calls these things abominations at the end of Isaiah 66:3.
People who abuse animals in any way commit abominations and do not do the
perfect will of God that transforms us as human beings. (See Romans 12:1-2)
The whole creation is waiting for humans to be transformed into unmistakable
Sons of God. And, as I said, God is love.
So you miss your venison backstrap:
”Quit you like men, be strong.” (1Corinthians 16:13c) Be willing to
suffer to please God. (Romans 8:17) According to 1Corinthians 13:4, love is
long suffering, and love is kind. We humans may suffer sometimes, but
suffering for wild animals happens every year and for domestic animals it
happens every day! To all of you who kill God’s creatures, I want you to
tell me how that is being kind to that animal which responds to love much
like a human being. Love does not envy other people who continue in their
cruel ways. The NLT of God’s Word says, “Love does not demand its own way.
It is not irritable and it keeps no record of being wronged.” Love,
according to the KJV, rejoices not in doing iniquity (moral wrongfulness and
injustice) but rejoices in the truth.” (1Corinthians 13:6) The truth is God
gave the same hope for deliverance to the animals that He gave to every
human who received it. Their hope is to be delivered from death and decay.
Romans 8:20-21 (NLT of the Bible) says, “Against its will, all creation was
subjected to God’s curse. But with eager hope, the creation looks forward to
the day when it will join God’s children in glorious freedom from death and
decay.” God did not curse the creation but God cursed man for his rebellion
and disobedience and the fall of man negatively impacted all of creation. It
has gone though hell, which frequently was brought about by human decision
and Satan’s devices. 1Corinthians 13:7 in the KJV makes it clear that Love
believes all things and hopes all things. We who love hope with the creation
for its restoration.
As sons and daughters of God we hope for the manifestation of His promises
to us and every creature. 1Corinthians 13:8 tells us that the walk of love
never fails. If love never fails like the song says, “Love is the Answer,”
we love God’s creation, we love Him more and we believe that He will deliver
creation. Walking in love towards all is the identifying characteristic of
true believers and followers of our Lord Jesus Christ when He washes away
our sin in order that we might see His great love and forgiveness for sins
that are past. Let your sins of the past be dissipated by God’s love and let
the world be changed by yours, as manifest sons and daughters of the Supreme
Being. (Romans 8:19)
In our community the local authorities tell us they want no emotions (or
feelings) expressed at public meetings, when as God’s servants we warn
people not to destroy the earth. We are called “bleeding hearts.” People
should pay attention to these pleas for them not to destroy the earth
because all of the elders in Heaven say, “God should destroy all those that
destroy the earth.” Life on this earth is very brief. Would you want to make
a few bucks selling logs, cutting down ancient forests and destroying animal
habitats so you could spend eternity deprived of any contact with God and
being tormented day and night along with the devil, the anti-Christ and the
false prophet? Tormented forever! (Read Revelation 11:18) A bleeding heart,
as the term is meant, is not a bad thing in the eyes of our Creator.
You may say, “I’ll kill whatever I want to kill.” So shut up you bleeding
hearted pest, but God says in Ephesians 4:31-32, “Get rid of all bitterness,
rage, anger, harsh words, and slander, as well as all types of evil
behavior. Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one
another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you.” Yes, love is the
answer!
