Did Murder Incorporated Help the Economy?
I believe in the rights of animals. I believe in the rights of people, too. We citizens still have the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, only because we are endowed with those things by our Creator. No “Neo-Cons” gave us anything resembling that! Our Constitution, while it is honored, also guarantees us the right to privacy, and the right to bring certain mistreatments to the attention of our government!
Some presidents like Eisenhower, told us that we needed to be protected, not so much from gangs or illegal people crossing our borders, but from the military/industrial complex. Eisenhower was loved by many people who did not even vote for him. He had this strange belief that government was, “of the people, by the people, and for the people!” What about the little people?
There was, long ago, a King that was so loved, that it is written that the Son of God shall sit on the throne of David, forever. King David had a story told him by a prophet. Briefly, the prophet said, “There was a certain poor man who loved a little ewe lamb so much that it ate from his plate, drank from this man’s own cup, and lived, played and stayed in the poor man’s home with the man’s children…until a certain rich man killed the poor man’s lamb! The same prophet asked King David, “What shall be done to this killer?” David answered, “As the Lord lives, the man who has done this thing shall surely die!” (2nd Samuel 12:1-5)
My point is that David thought rightly that even killing somebody’s pet lamb, who was loved as a daughter, was an extremely cruel thing to do. King David, of the Holy Bible, agrees that the killer of a little lamb, “should surely die,” yet today we have become so depraved and our consciences so darkened, that state employees, by omission permitted murder to go unchecked! Abortionists who were aware of the sickening tragedies that were occurring protected jobs not babies. Some people aware of the goings on, estimate there were well over 100 babies killed by removing their heads or cutting their backbones with scissors, once the babies were delivered!
In John the Baptist’s day, they had this gift that God recognized as “Freedom of Speech.” John asked certain people who came to be baptized, “Oh, generation of Vipers, who has warned you to flee from the wrath to come?” (Matthew 3:11) Why would we bring the wrath of God upon our nation by the most heinous treatment of the newborn offspring of our citizens?
Kermit Barron Gosnell, M.D. is an American abortion provider, who practiced in Philadelphia and other nearby states between 1972 and 2011 and as of March 18, 2013, is on trial for first and third degree murder, illegal prescribing of drugs, conspiracy related to corruption, and illegal abortions and related medical malpractice offenses, at his abortion practice. Gosnell was arrested in January 2011 and charged – along with other crimes and various co-defendant employees – with eight counts of murder. Seven newborns were said to have been killed after being born alive after attempted abortions.
Before the trial opened, all defendants apart from Gosnell and one other, had already pled guilty to similar charges (including for some, charges of third degree murder); several had testified to “snipping” the spines of living babies. One of these defendants, Steven Massof, testified that he had personally done this over a hundred times, describing it as “standard procedure” at the clinics. The trial of Gosnell and the last remaining defendant began on March 18, 2013. In order for evil to prevail, all that is necessary is for good people to do or say nothing.
Lack of Government Oversight
Reports say that state officials have failed to visit or inspect Gosnell’s practices since 1993. The states of Pennsylvania and New York disciplined Gosnell’s practice of medicine. The Grand Jury report noted that the medical examiner of Delaware County alerted the Pennsylvania Department of Health that Gosnell had performed an illegal abortion on a 14 year old that was 30 weeks pregnant. It is also claimed the Pennsylvania Department of Health did not act when they became aware of Gosnell’s involvement in the death of a mother. A prominent unnamed person said, “If we cannot finish the job inside the womb, we are happy to do so outside the womb.” I ask, “What’s the next thing, if the baby cries when we are trying to sleep, can we just shoot it?”
Is everyone who knows God and walks in the way of His Son, Jesus Christ, forbidden to pray in His name? Are they also now prevented from having any input into the treatment of babies who are separated from their mother? If anyone is happy to kill a baby, perhaps they will enjoy the eternal torture in Hell that awaits them. Surely you believe in what the Creator has warned, “God hates and considers an abomination, hands that shed innocent blood.” (Proverbs 6:17) If they repent thoroughly and exchange their insane ideas for the words of the Almighty, the perpetrators can begin their own new birth and life (something that babies were expecting). If you repent and turn to Jesus, He can make you a new creature and your sins will be forgotten!
In researching this article, I ran into ads which asked, “How much does an abortion cost?” The answer is, it costs some dollars, a little gas, and often the soul of the one who obtained the abortion and those who assisted such an act. It could cost you the birth of a ceaseless bundle of joy. God shows no doubt that abortion is a sin and the wages of sin is death. Still, the free gift of God is eternal life to all who start that new life based on repentance and accepting the new birth, which Christ offers.
The abortionist who assisted Dr. Gosnell regularly split living baby’s spines on a routine basis outside the womb. Some of the abortionists describe babies as “morally irrelevant.” Who is morally irrelevant? God, King David and the Prophet Nathan agreed that killing a pet lamb is not morally irrelevant. Are you saying that a baby has less relevance than an animal? They both deserve the finest treatment we can give them. Even our treatment of the lowest animals is required by law to be ethical or moral treatment. How can we do less to a little child? A woman is truly entitled to do to her own body whatsoever she wants to do, but not to another human being. God hates the spilling of innocent blood and in most occasions, even a baby in the womb has a different blood type than the woman. It is not the mother’s blood the abortionists are spilling.
America is being penalized by her multitude of unborn babies which she has permitted to be killed. I heard a prophet of God say that this mistreatment of our country is going to continue on and on until the whole nation repents, but that is not exactly correct. It is going to continue on and on, faster and faster and our correctional whipping will become harder and harder until we remember, with God, no one gets away with murder!
Psalms 9:17 says, “The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.” God doesn’t need terrorists, deranged activists, or mental patients to turn America or any other nation into hell; He is very capable of doing it Himself. Every act we do is a seed planted which we are going to have to harvest. God’s Word is settled forever in Heaven, so why are we sowing our deeds on the edge of hell and yet not expecting that we shall fall into that burning pit? I don’t believe in the death penalty, personally, even for people like Gosnell, not that they don’t deserve it. But what hurts the most is that these babies already have experienced the death penalty.
I don’t care what is politically correct. The kind of politics we are experiencing today are right out of hell and will take a lot of our lawmakers there to make their eternal home. I’m tired of Christians getting shoved out of the way as if they were terrorists. Don’t call us Christians anymore if you’re going to use that name to exclude us from participating as citizens. We are those who follow Jesus Christ and who know God. His Word says, “And this is eternal life to know God and Jesus Christ whom He has sent.” We are, “those who know God” and those who know God agree with His word which says in the KJV, “Shall the throne of iniquity have fellowship with thee, which frames mischief by a law?” (Psalm 94:20) Mischief (amal in Hebrew) means worry, grievousness, miserable labor, pain, perverseness, iniquity, sorrow, trouble, and wickedness. The New Century translation of the Bible alerts us all to the extreme danger by saying, “Crooked leaders cannot be your friends. They use the law to cause suffering.” Is murder, by being legalized, no longer sin and suffering?
How can a nation who can spy on its people with drones, kill those it wants to without even admitting to what they did, and murdering little babies, say they are for the people, while they are causing the people, including future generations, great harm and suffering. I certainly am not calling the people of our once honorable country, to violence, for if America does not repent, she will have to answer to the Almighty. I am not pleading with our overseers to tolerate violence; I am urging them, before it’s too late, to stop the violence. Believe me, God will!
